The information provided on this website and through the services of Serene Waters Birth Services (“Company,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) is for educational and informational purposes only.

By using this Site or booking services, you acknowledge and agree to the following:

I am a non-medical birth professional. I do not diagnose, treat, or replace the role of licensed healthcare providers.
Nothing on this Site or in my Services should be considered medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.
Outcomes of pregnancy, labor, and birth cannot be guaranteed.
You are responsible for your own medical care and decisions in consultation with your chosen providers.
Serene Waters Birth Services is not liable for any complications, outcomes, injuries, or damages related to pregnancy, labor, delivery, or postpartum experiences.

Always seek the advice of your physician, midwife, or other qualified healthcare professional with any questions you may have regarding your health, pregnancy, or medical condition.

Refund/Payment Policy

At Serene Waters Birth Services, I reserve my time, energy, and availability exclusively for each client. To honor that commitment, the following Payment & Refund Policy applies:

Payments

Private Pay: At this time, all services are private pay. Accepted methods include [Cash, Zelle, PayPal]
Deposit: A non-refundable deposit is required at the first prenatal visit( after IC) to secure me as your doula & a spot on my calendar.
Balance: The remaining balance is due in full by 36 weeks of pregnancy, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Future Insurance Coverage: I am preparing to accept Medicaid and TRICARE for doula services. Once available, details will be updated. Until then, clients are responsible for private payment.
Future Online Payments: If payments are made online, they are processed securely through independent providers (such as PayPal, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Credit/Debit or similar). Serene Waters Birth Services does not store your full payment details. By using these services, you agree to their terms in addition to ours.

Refunds

No Refunds: All payments are final and non-refundable.
Cancellations by Client: If you cancel services at any time, including last-minute or after labor begins, payment remains due in full.
Change of Mind: If you choose not to use doula services after booking, for any reason, payment remains due in full.
Failure to Notify: If labor progresses too quickly or you do not call in time for me to attend, this does not release you from payment.
Provider or Location Restrictions: If your hospital, birth center, or provider denies doula access, this does not release you from payment.
Cancellations by Doula: If I am unable to attend and no backup doula is available, a partial refund may be considered at my discretion.
